DISTURBING THE PEACE
Campus police have arrested an Opelousas man following an incident at the Dupre library Wednesday morning.
Jonathon Pomier, 25, was charged with disturbing the peace.
OPERATING A VEHICLE UNDER SUSPENSION
A traffic stop near the Cajundome led to the arrest of a Breaux Bridge man last Wednesday night for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
Tyler Johnson, 23, was pulled over by campus police after he committed a traffic violation. Upon investigation, it was discovered Johnson was driving with a suspended license, as well as no proof of insurance.
Johnson was arrested and booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center. His vehicle was towed and impounded.
There was an incident of simple battery on Lewis Street at 9:52 a.m. on March 5.
POSSESSION SCHEDULE I
University police have arrested a Schriever man for marijuana possession and resisting arrest following an altercation on Rex Street Thursday evening.
Police were dispatched in response to a report of a suspicious person at 8:32 p.m. Gregory Holloway, 20, was found with an undisclosed amount of marijuana, three grinders and 40 baggies.
Holloway provided a false name to the responding officers, and was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
