Sanders benefit to take Freetown through auctions, panel
A benefit for Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders featuring local musicians will be held on Sunday, Feb. 28 at Warehouse 535 in the Freetown neighborhood.
The festivities will begin at 2 p.m. and last until 10 p.m., and will feature performances from local artists: GIVERS, Feufollet, Terrance Simien, Steve Riley, Chubby Carrier, Cedric Watson, The Cavemen, NEAT and Armed Rhymery. There will also be a silent auction curated by Galerie Touchet, as well as a panel discussion/community meeting about Sanders and this year’s election.
The entrance fee is a minimum $10 donation to the Sanders campaign.
